Endless Cave Survey Project

Endless cave is located in New Mexico on BLM lands. The grotto accepted the challenge of surveying this small, yet very complex cave. Little did we know, the very name of the cave would haunt us as we pushed on with the survey. The cave consists of multiple layers of maze type passages that converge in several areas. The result is a surveying nightmare. The cave is generally closed from April 15 through October 15 due to the bat population. The surveying portion of the project was finally completion in January 2010. The map is currently in the process of being drafted.
