| PROJECTS |

Members of the Lubbock Area Grotto (LAG) are actively involved in various types of cave
related projects. Some members participate in survey and restoration projects lead by
the Cave Research Foundation, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, and Lincoln National Forest.
Other projects are grotto sponsored and include survey projects for the New Mexico Bureau of
Land Management and private land owners in south Texas.
Projects range from long term to relatively short, simple to complex, survey to restoration.
There is usually something going on to spark the interest of anyone who would like to participate.
We encourage getting involved with a project as it is your chance to give back to the caves for
the enjoyment they provide to us.
Links to the latest projects can be found to the left. Upcoming projects
include various Carlsbad Caverns restoration trips, survey and mapping of Root Cellar Cave and
Smart Cave in south Texas.
